A very valuable plant to me for tying together planting schemes and providing repetition throughout the garden. Spikes of small dusky red-pink flowers July to October. This is planted throughout the garden as it does not clash with anything.  Use it to separate bolder flowers or set off bolder flowers well. Also attractive to honey bees, wasps, and hoverflies. Height 60-100 cm. Clump forming, minimum spread 90cm
